Celebrating 100 Years of Female Fellows
100 years ago, in 1924, the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland admitted the first female Fellow of the College, Dr Mary Hearn. To mark this date and to celebrate the achievements of the pioneering women of medicine, we are holding a social event at home, in No 6 Kildare Street, for our Members and Fellows. This is also an opportunity to see the recent completed refurbishment works.
Open House Afternoon - 14.00-17.00pm
Our open house afternoon session with building tours and talks, 100 years of Female Fellows display, small indoor market, clothes swap and afternoon tea refreshments. This session is a casual afternoon event that you may feel free to drop into at any time. Confirmation of attendance is not necessary, but expression of interest is helpful for catering arrangements.
Evening Network Event - 17.30pm-20.00pm
Our evening networking event with female centred panel discussion. This evening session includes a panel discussion in Corrigan Hall so there are limited places.
