Culture Night 2013

Following the success of last year's open evening, RCPI will be throwing open its doors again for Culture Night this year.

The Royal College of Physicians of Ireland, No. 6, Kildare Street will be open to the public from 5pm to 11pm on Friday 20 September. Visitors will be free to wander around the College, explore the building and discover the history of RCPI and medicine in Ireland. There will be a pop-up café  in one of our magnificent halls during the evening, and there will also be  musical entertainment.

Now in its eight year Culture Night is a unique night in the Irish calendar when a myriad of culture events and activities are staged for free across the city. Culture Night creates an awareness and interest in the rich diversity of cultural organisations such as galleries, theatres, historic sites, museums, public spaces, churches, nature parks and libraries that are available to people both on a local and national level.

As an added bonus all events are free of charge. Culture Night is also an opportunity for members of the public to have an opportunity to visit historic buildings and sites that they may not ordinarily get a chance to see.

RCPI has a long and proud history and we are delighted to be taking part in Culture Night again this year and look forward to welcoming people into our stunning building.
