Curator-led tour of Casimir Markievicz exhibition at Dublin Castle

Dublin Castle, Dame Street, Dublin 2
Thursday 28 August 2025
6.30pm

We are honoured to have curator Dr Kathryn Milligan offer this tour of her exhibition at Dublin Castle. It explores the life, art, and theatre of Casimir Markievicz, husband of Irish revolutionary Constance Markievicz, who was a central figure in the Dublin avant-garde of the early 20th century. The exhibition includes more than 80 paintings, photographs, and archival objects from national and international public collections as well as private lenders, including numerous works from Polish family collections returning to Ireland for the first time.
This temporary exhibition ends in mid-September, so this is the perfect opportunity to see it, and with the expert guidance of the curator no less!

The tour will take place on Thursday 28 August at 6.30pm. Spaces are limited. Book your place by emailing heritagecentre@rcpi.ie
