Online Archive Catalogue
The RCPI Heritage Centre is delighted to announce the launch of its new online archive catalogue, part of the development of our online profile.
The College is currently undertaking a 21 month Welcome Trust funded project, to catalogue its entire archival holdings. The online catalogue is part of this project, and will make the newly catalogued material available to as wide an audience as possible. The online catalogue contains details of the four collections catalogued so far; the papers of Sir Dominic Corrigan, Kathleen Lynn's Diaries, the paper of Saint Ultan's Hospital and the papers of Sir Patrick Dun's Hospital. As the cataloguing of more collections is completed the details will be made available through the online catalogue.
The catalogue can be search in two ways;
* Firstly the Catalogue (or general) search can be used to search all the records in the database using a number of different fields.
* Secondly the person search allows the index of personal and corporate names created during cataloguing to be searched, identifying records across all the catalogued collections.
The online catalogue is a work in progress and we would welcome any
feedback from users.
