Tour of the National Print Museum *MEMBERS AND FELLOWS*

28 November 2026
2-3pm
National Print Museum, Beggars Bush Barracks, Dublin, D04 E0C9

Members and Fellows of the Royal College of Physicians of Ireland are invited to join us for a historic tour of the National Print Museum in November.

Learn how the printing press, invented in 1439 by Johannes Gutenberg, changed the world. View an original 1916 Proclamation, Ireland’s most important historical printed document, and marvel at the artefact’s fascinating story of production. Your guide will demonstrate how printing was done throughout most of the last few centuries. The main collection is not behind glass or rope, but is instead an example of a working collection.

This is a free tour for Members and Fellows only. Tickets are limited. Book your place by emailing heritagecentre@rcpi.ie.
